5/13/ HIS INVOLVEMENT IN OUR BECOMING CHRISTIANS...

5/13/ We are convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit. John 16:7 -8 But I am telling you the truth; if I leave, it is really better for you. If I don‘t leave, the Comforter won't come to you. However, if I go away, I will send Him He will prove that the people of the world are wrong about sin, wrong about what is right, and wrong about judgment:

5/13/ We are "born again” of the Spirit John 3:5-8 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven. Here there is no conflict with the law.

5/13/ We must set our minds on "the things of the Spirit" Romans 8:5-6 Those who let themselves be controlled by their lower natures live only to please themselves, but those who follow after the Holy Spirit find themselves doing those things that please God. Following after the Holy Spirit leads to life and peace, but following after the old nature leads to death.

5/13/ It is "by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body" Romans 8:11-13 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as He raised Christ from the dead, He will give life to your mortal body by this same Spirit living within you. Therefore, brethren, it is not to our lower natures that we are under obligation that we should live by their rule. For if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die, but if by the Spirit you continually put to death the activities of the body, you will live.

5/13/ HIS PRESENCE IN OUR LIVES AS CHRISTIANS... Only when "led by the Spirit" are we truly the "sons of God" All who are guided by the Spirit of God are sons of God;

5/13/ The Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying. For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how to pray as we should; but the Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be expressed in words and he who can see into all hearts knows what the Spirit means because the prayers that the Spirit makes for God's holy people are always in accordance with the mind of God. The Holy Spirit "makes intercession for us" in our prayers

5/13/ God strengthens us "with might through His Spirit" in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16 I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will give you mighty inner strength through His Holy Spirit.

5/13/ May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you! Thus we can enjoy the "communion (fellowship) of the Spirit"

5/13/ If then I can appeal to you as the followers of Christ, if there is any persuasive power in love and any common sharing of the Spirit, or if you have any tender- heartedness and compassion, make my joy complete by being of one mind Thus we can enjoy the "communion (fellowship) of the Spirit"
