EUROPE AFTER WWI Devastated economically, psychologically, and socially 9,911,000 died Millions others wounded Millions who made it back had PTSD (known as “Lost Generation”) Changed way people thought of country, selves, and civilization Land where fought ravished by trenches, bombing, and gas Hugh economic depression, especially in Germany(hyperinflation)
