What is Schoology?  LMS - learning management system  Houses materials and communication in a course.  Instead of passing things out in class or turning HW in class, it is all submitted through Schoology. Missed Assignments Post Questions Communication/Messaging

Is Schoology Being Used?  17,000 Files Uploaded  24,000 Work Submissions  COLD DAY # Page Views  COLD DAY #2 – 1,000+ Page Views  Daily Average – 1,500 Views

Parent View of Schoology  Click around – you can’t break/delete anything.  As is if viewing class from one way mirror.  Can see student work, can't say they left it in their locker.

Access code can be requested from any teacher. Each student has the same code for all classes. SLIDE 2

Questions to ask your students  What classes are most active on Schoology?  What classes are most active on Schoology?  What was a recent update your teacher has posted?  What was your most recent submission? Can you show me?  How do you submit assignments?  How is your notability organized?  What was a note you worked on today?  What is in the materials section of your class?  What is on your class calendar?  What other apps are you using in clases?
