Presentation on theme: "Once you log on to Skyward, this would be the home screen."— Presentation transcript:

1 Once you log on to Skyward, this would be the home screen.
Upcoming events from the school calendar. This is the menu that will link you to all of the important information on Skyward.

2 Here is a closer look at the assignment Calendar tab.
Teachers will put the assignment that was given that day. When it is graded, the grade will show. Most assignments are posted daily, but grades may not be entered immediately. Always know that teachers try to update grades as soon as they are able to, so be sure to check the calendar often  Blue highlights are important school dates.

3 When you click on a particular assignment, you will be given more information about that assignment.

4 If you click on “Show Assignment Details”, you will be given even more useful information. Assigned dates, due dates (for future projects and assignments), and even attachments of the assignment. Some teachers will put an electronic copy of the work so you can print the assignment from home. *Teachers are only allowed 100mb per attachment and some assignments may be too big to post on Skyward

5 Assignments highlighted in red should be clicked on immediately.

6 These assignments could be “Missing” or “Absent” or any other label the teacher has designated to work that is not accounted for. Typically a red highlighted assignment is one that has been graded, but was not turned in. If there is no grade or red highlight, the assignment was given to the student, but has not been turned in yet or has not been graded yet.

7 The “Gradebook” menu item is a quick progress report.
Current trimester grades Current midterm grade Assignments and grades (grades may not show if teacher hasn’t graded assignment)
