Today’s Outline  Content of Option 1 – Math for College Success (MAT 0024) – and Option 2 – Mathematics for College Readiness (MAT 1033)  Pupil Progression through these two options and articulation to Chipola  Open discussion – Questions and answers  ? – Have you made your decision (Opt 1 or 2) already?

Current Chipola Guidelines  Score less than 72 on CPT (19 on ACT 440 on SAT) student enters MAT 0024 – Elementary Algebra – non-credit  Score 72 or greater on CPT, with High School Algebra 1 only, student enters MAT 1033 – Intermediate Algebra – Elective credit  Score 72 or greater on CPT, with High School Algebra 1 and Algebra 2, student enters MAC 1105/6/7 or higher (depending on High School coursework)  Once they enter they must follow the progression /6/7 without skipping courses
