Arbus 1000 is shipped in two crates 66” x 42” x 22” 506 lbs 131” x 59” x 47” 1496 lbs Large crate is the sprayer unit, packed within this crate will be the parts for assembly. In the smaller crate the axle and tires can be found below the bumper. Notice each crate has Serial Number. When assembling multiple units insure to match SN’s on the crates.

Hoist the front of sprayer at the chassis. Attach the jack support to the front of the chassis using the pin and cotter key set provided with it. Insert the retaining pin with the jack in the upright position as shown below. Secure a tire to each end of the axle using the 12 lug nuts provided in the accessories box. Step One: Attach front jack support and tires to the axle...

Hoist the rear of sprayer at the chassis. Position the axle with tires into position under the sprayer. Attach to the four D brackets using the four bolts, lock washers, and nuts provided in accessories box. Notice curve of D spacer faces outward. The tracking axle linkage will attach here later, this should be facing forward on the right side of the sprayer. These D spacer bolts may require tightening while securing the axle. Step Two: Slide the crate bottom out and move the tires/axle in...

Step Three: Attach tongue and tank sump protective cover... Using the two long pin and cotter key sets. Attach the tongue to the bottom front of the sprayer. Insert the rear pin first (as the hole is slotted). Using the four bolts, washers, and nuts provided secure the tank sump protective cover to the chassis behind the tongue.

Step Four: Attach draw bar and tie rod to tracking axle... Slide the draw bar into the tongue, secure with washer, castle nut and cotter pin. Straighten up the tires. Rotate the tie rod counterclockwise to connect to tracking axle linkage. After connecting the rear of the tie rod to the tracking axle and the draw bar is square, then connect the tie rod to the drawbar using the pin & cotter set. Adjust the distance of the tie rod so that the draw bar is squared. Use the nuts on the tie rod to tighten into position.

Step Five: Prepare chemical hose... Remove the two wing nuts and washers (one on each side) and lift off front hood. Unwrap all hoses and route them through the opening in the front of the hood. The black hose must be connected securely to the top/front of the pump. Replace the front hood.

Step Six: Install the chemical control valve... Use the two bolts provided to attach the control valve mounting support to the front of the chassis. Use the two bolts, washers, and nuts affix the control valve to the mounting support. Connect the black hose first to the bottom fitting. Bypass

Step Seven: Install PTO and drive shaft cover... Slide the PTO onto the drive shaft then secure with the nut and bolt. Slide the drive shaft cover over the PTO. Secure the drive shaft cover in place using the two bolts provided in the front of the chassis.

Step Eight: Install fan guard and rear bumper... Fasten the fan guard into place using the eight bolts & washers provided with it. Secure the rear bumper using the four bolts. Two on each side of the chassis.
