1 Beginner Stander Presentation
With STS Power Base We will attempt to show you all the component parts on our STS power base along with all the features of the wood beginner stander.

2 STS Power Base Front View
Wheel Engage Levers This power base is designed so that it not only works on the beginner wood stander it also will work with our custom made frame that allows a child to both sit and stand. This power base has been FDA tested to meet all FDA requirements. It is operated by 24V P&G electronics or by control solutions electronics, depending on the client and therapist. Shown are the tie down locations in the front of the power base to be used when transporting in a commercial vehicle, school bus or car. 2ndly shown are the locations to engage and disengage the front drive wheels Front Tie Downs

5 Lifting Handles

6 Multiple Frame Locations
These are the locations that the beginner stander frame fasten into. These same locations are used with several other seating or standing frames in the same power base.

7 Circuit Breaker Button
This overload circuit breaker is used to protect the electronics and motor from overload.

8 Inline Seat Disconnect Location
This is the location where you plug in so that you are able to raise the seating system up or down. The 2nd set of plugs are for indication when the seating system is the stand or seating position. This tell the electronics what speed the electronics how fast it is going to move the car, whether in sitting or standing.

9 Battery & Electronics Locations
M2-Left Motor The center Red/Black disconnect is to remove the battery for easy transportation. M1-Right Motor Quick Disconnect for Removing Batteries

10 Beginner Board Mounting Location
The mounting frame is designed to accept several frames, they have to slip into the slots shown and the ¼” key or bolt has to be installed to assure the frame stays fastened securely to the STS Power Base Make Sure the Mounting Bracket Goes into these slots

11 Operating Instructions
Lay the beginner board into a horizontal position Make sure the support post is straight up and down Make sure one of the lateral hip support is tipped to the side Lay your client on the board Fasten the hip and chest straps Make sure the knee blocks are positioned correctly Release the tilt lever and stand your client upright Slide up the tray and hip supports to the correct location Install the tray and snap the hook together behind the board Place the switch or switches on the tray and have fun

12 Tilt Adjustment Lever You can tilt the stander by pushing the adjustment lever toward the wood and at the same time push down on the wood stander to put it in any horizontal position. Once you have achieved the position you want, make sure the adjustment lever is in the correct locking position.

13 Beginner Stander Front View
The wood beginner is made of ¾” plywood. It measurers 2ft wide x 4ft tall. It has slots running from top to bottom making it easy to make adjustments for multiple size clients.

14 Beginner Stander Side View

15 Actuator & Support Post
Horizontal Positing Post Actuator The horizontal position post swings freely which allows it to hang from the beginner board direct to the ground which keeps the beginner board and STS from tipping over while position a child with the board in a horizontal position.

16 Knee Blocks & Support Straps
4” Foam Knee Block

17 Tray & Hip Supports Tip Away Support Hip & Chest Straps
Our earlier version of the lateral supports had a pin you push into a hole to hold the arm straight out. We are in the process of making the arm support so that you will lift up on the arm removing it from a slide pin, then twisting the arm to the side for easy access to the flat board. Hip straps and chest straps are also use to help support a person Tip Away Support Hip & Chest Straps

18 Horizontal Support Post
Absolutely remember to keep the motor levers engage when the Beginner Stander is in a horizontal position so that the STS Power Base does not move when you are positioning a child. You do not want the vehicle to upset

19 Tray Positioning Make sure that you place the straps under the knobs
that support the arms, this Will keep the tray from falling Off the arms

20 Tray Bracket Locations
We supply additional adjustment arms Which can be use to adjust the tray to Multiple angles, these slide into the square Bracket under the arms
