FACULTY MENTOR  Volunteer position  Meets at least once per month with the student during the academic year  Aims to help the student to transition to academic culture by discussing the field, grad school experiences, etc. Also serves as a listening ear and encourager. RESEARCH SUPERVISOR   Paid position (summer contract)   Meets at least 5 hours per week (in person or virtually) during all of INDV 460 (May 26-July 31, 2015)   Guides the student’s specific research project FACULTY MENTOR VS. RESEARCH SUPERVISOR?
