1. Feature List for KX-TDE/NCP Version 8 No. Feature MPR Version 1 New Digital PT KX-DT5xx is supported. New DSS Console KX-DT590 is also supported. *) Software of DLC/DHLC card has to be version 8. 8.01 2 New IP PT KX-NT55x and KX-NT511 are supported. New DSS Console KX-NT505 is also supported. *) These phones have to be registered to MPR card. These phones cannot be registered to IP-EXT16 card. 8.00 or later 3 Call waiting tone can be sent to EHS headset. 4 New CO cards KX-TDA6381 and KX-TDA6382 are supported for KX-TDE600. 7.00 or later KX-NCP version 8.00 works with KX-DT5xx technically. But do not connect KX-DT5xx because voice level has not been adjusted yet. Version 8.01 has to be used for KX-DT5xx. 2

3. Call Waiting Tone to EHS Call waiting tone can be sent to EHS headset of KX-DT5xx and NT5xx. This feature can be enabled for each extension port. Default is disabled (PT Tone). This setting can be changed when “Headset ON” is assigned. TDE-NCP INSTALLER level TDA Sales company level When this feature is disabled, call waiting tone is sent to speaker-phone of PT main unit instead of EHS headset. This feature is not applied to optional Bluetooth adapter of KX-DT3xxx and KX-NT3xxx. Call waiting tone is sent to speaker-phone of these PT always.

4. New CO Card for KX-TDE600 and KX-TDA600 New CO cards KX-TDA6381 and KX-TDA6382 are supported for KX-TDE600/620 and KX-TDA600/620. SLT Card Software Improvement

5-1. SLT Card Software Improvement Quicker ring start is supported for SLT port with caller ID. This is applied to following cards. KX-TDA1176 (16-port) for KX-TDA100D and KX-TDE100-200 and KX-NS1000 KX-TDA1178 (24-port) KX-TDA6178 (24-port w/o Message) for KX-TDA600, KX-TDE600 and KX-NS1000 KX-TDA6179 (24-port) for KX-TDE600 and KX-NS1000 Case Card Software Caller ID setting Result 1 Version 4　Version 5 Disable Pre-ring works. 2 Version 4 Enable Pre-ring does NOT work. 5-2. SLT Card Software Improvement This feature can be disabled by card software down grade to version 4 or by card property programming. Card property programming is available using KX-TDE-NCP version 8 or KX-TDA latest version. Default is enable(Mode1) for quick ring.

Other PCMC Software Improvement

6-1. Off-hook Monitor Off hook-monitor can be disabled to KX-DT phone also for KX-TDE-NCP any version. PCMC display is improved. Version 8

Hand-set (Not hands-free) 6-2. Off-hook Monitor During extension user is talking with other party using handset, colleague near the extension user can listen to voice from the other party using hands-free speaker also. This is off-hook monitor feature. This feature is useful as conference with other party, extension user and colleague. However many users are using this feature for hands-free talking. In this case, voice to other party becomes very small because hands-free microphone is not active. Disable is strongly recommended.
