English 9 th grade – English 1 10 th grade – English 2 11 th grade – English 3 12 th grade – English 4

Math 9 th Algebra 1 10 th Geometry 11 th Algebra 2 12 th Pre-Cal (Algebra 1 already completed) 9 th Geometry 10 th Algebra 2 11 th Pre-Cal 12 th Calculus or Stats

Science 9 th Biology 10 th Chemistry 11 th Physics 12 th Other science (can take IPC in 10 th )

Social Studies 9 th World Geog. 10 th World History 11 th U.S. History 12 th Gov’t/Eco ( Gov’t and Eco are usually offered over the summer for those who would like to get ahead)

P.E. or equivalent P.E. (1 required) Athletics Band (fall = PE) Drill Team (fall = PE) Color Guard (fall = PE) Cheerleading (fall = PE) ROTC

Foreign Languages 2 credits in the same language required French, Spanish, Latin or German If you are fluent in another language, you may want to consider Credit by Exam.

Speech Communication Applications (usually offered over summer for initial credit) Professional Communication/Career Focus

Fine Art One credit required Band (spring only) Drill team (spring only) Dance Art Orchestra Choir Floral Design Theater Arts – performance or technical

Electives Check the handbook and consider all options. Can be academic type electives, specific programs (ex: cosmetology, business, ROTC)

Course Selection Sheet Complete your course selection sheet using your four year plan. Complete the four year plan on the back of your course selection sheet. Turn course selection sheets in Friday before Christmas break. Do not hesitate to ask if you have questions, and don’t worry, you can make changes!
