Taken from the November ISEE Upload § Annual report of children served--information required in the report. (a) For purposes of the annual report required by section 618 of the Act, the State and the Secretary of the Interior must count and report the number of children with disabilities receiving special education and related services on any date between October 1 and December 1 of each year. PROVIDED BY THE IDAHO STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION Child Count

Required: 1.Student must be “enrolled” in the district 2.Student must have a current eligibility 3.Student must have a current IEP PROVIDED BY THE IDAHO STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION Child Count

LEA must report ALL students – ages 3 to 21 1.Referred for the first time (initial) 2.Received written permission for initial (first time) evaluation 3.Regardless of determination (eligible/ineligible/undetermined) PROVIDED BY THE IDAHO STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION Child Find (60-day timeline) 5 day exclusion rule FY reporting (July 1 to June 30)
