1 Entering Correction Activities for 60 Day Timeline, Early Childhood Transition and Discipline Noncompliance Welcome to the presentation on how to enter correction activities in the Compliance Tracking Tool around noncompliance associated with 60 day Timeline, Early Childhood Transition and Discipline noncompliance.

2 After you login to the Compliance Tracking Tool, you will need to click into the SDE section for this activity even if you are a Year 1 SAM LEA.

3 Add An Activity This is the next screen that will come up. As we look at our options, please choose, “Add Improvement Activities from File Reviews”. (Keep in mind that since you are in the SDE area, it will say SDE where the word District is located on this slide.)

4 Add An Activity If it is a 60 day timeline item, it comes up as Child Find in the topic and gives the full description under the item---“Percent of children with parental consent to evaluate, who were evaluated and eligibility determined within 60 days.” If it is an Early Childhood Transition item, the topic is Preschool Transition and the item includes the description “Percent of children referred by Part C prior to age 3, who were found eligible for Part B, and who have an IEP developed and implemented by their third birthday.” Etc. Remember that as you click in and add the activities, this list will get smaller. You will be able to access the items on another screen, this is simply our working screen to make sure we add activities to all of the items that need correction. Think of it as making a “To Do” list. So…click on the magnifying glass.

5 Add an Activity 1 2 3 This is a 3 step process…
1. Choose the reviewer…usually it is the Director/Supervisor. 2. Type in your improvement activity. This should be determined by your team. 3. Then click Save. Please note, that the improvement activity should be designed based on an analysis of what caused the noncompliance to occur. 3

6 Add an Activity After you clicked SAVE it will take you back to this screen until you are done with this list. Again, this list will be empty after you have entered all of your “To Do” list of improvement activities. If you are done, click on the “Return” button.

7 Progress Monitor on these Noncompliance Findings

8 Look down the buttons, click the “Progress Monitoring on Existing Issues” button.

9 State of Idaho (999) Click on the magnifying glass for the issue you want to work with and progress monitor.

10 Then add a comment such as “All corrected” Finally, click “Save”
100% Once the improvement activities have been completed please complete the following 4 steps: Add 100’s in both boxes Click on the little calendar next to the date box and choose the current date Then add a comment such as “All corrected” Finally, click “Save” You will end up with a little blue 100% next to the PLOP under Compliance Progress Monitoring! When you are at 100%, it is ready to be verified by the SDE and will show up on your list to your regional consultant.

11 Thank You Thank you for your time. :0)
