 It is the nation’s largest federal assistance program for our schools that have a high percentage of students receiving free and reduced lunch.  Administered by Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)  It is the largest grant that Somerset County receives.  Parent Involvement - 1% of total Title I funds 2

 3 Elementary Schools are Title I ◦ Greenwood, Princess Anne Elementary, Woodson  Greenwood is a school-wide Title I school.  Provides for Reading, Math Coaches, Facilitators, Extra Help and Time for Students  Provides Training for Teachers, Smaller Class Sizes, Technology 4
