A Core Value is the importance attached to something that serves as an influence and guide for behavior.

The values of our organization - The importance our organization attaches to something that serves as an influence and a guide in our team member’s BEHAVIOR.

The of our organization is our VISION. HEAD The of our organization is our MISSION. HEART The of our organization is our VALUES SOUL

The Values of an organization are like … 1. - They hold an organization together. GLUE

2. A - They provide stability for growth. FOUNDATION “Good leaders abhor wrongdoings of all kinds; Sound leadership has a moral foundation.” – Proverbs 16:11 (The Message) Trust deals more with CHARACTER. Respect deals more with COMPETENCE.

3. A - They set the standard for the team’s behavior. YARDSTICK 4. A - They give direction and guidance. COMPASS 5. A - They attract good team members MAGNET

6. An - They define and identify the team IDENTITY This identity takes place when align with VALUES BEHAVIOR. Values without aligned behavior = Energy DRAIN & INEFFECTIVENESS Values with aligned behavior = Energy BURSTS & EFFECTIVENESS
