Within the framework of the SWFDP

6 Training Workshop Goals, Objectives and Programme Course Objectives WMO GDPFS and Sat (1 st week) To update and broaden the knowledge of staff responsible for operational forecasting and development, to ensure the access and optimal use of existing NWP/EPS and satellite-based products with emphasis on forecasting hazardous weather conditions PWS (2 nd week) To provide knowledge of a broad range of topics related to improved PWS, emphasizing the delivery of warning services to media and disaster manager authorities
