Guess what ? On Halloween R.L. Stine gives out candy bars and copies of his books to the trick-or-treaters. Don’t you wish that you could go trick-or-treating at R.L. Stine’s house in New York?

I never get writer's block. Mainly because I do so much work before I start to write. I do complete chapter-by-chapter outlines of every book. And I make a list of all the characters-- what they look like and their personalities. And I always figure out the ending BEFORE I start the book. That's a big head-start and keeps me from having writers block. Writing Tips from R.L. Stine? Do you ever get writer’s block and don’t know what to write about?

Interesting Facts R.L. Stine has written over 300 books! He has sold over 300 million copies of his books - do you believe that? Guinness Book of World Records #1 Best Selling Author of a children’s series in For more information about R.L. Stine go to
