Subject Entry Requirements Chemistry (essential) Maths (essential) Physics* or Biology** or Human Biology** (essential) English*(strongly preferred) No fifth subject specified * Subject essential for some courses * * Foundation Physics is compulsory in 1st year if no Higher Physics

Minimum Entry Requirements MChem Chemistry Highers: ABBB or AABC Advanced Highers / A Levels : BBB (2nd Year entry) MChem Chemistry with Drug Discovery MChem Forensic & Analytical Chemistry MChem Chemistry with Teaching Highers: AABB or AAAC * Advanced Highers / A Levels: ABB (2nd Year entry) MSci Applied Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Highers: AAAB * Advanced Highers / A Levels: AAB (2nd Year entry)

Minimum Entry Requirements (Additional criteria) H & AH in the same subject are counted once only. If sitting AH Chemistry – we expect a pass No resit penalty -standard reached at end of S6 that counts. Great majority of offers are conditional Special requirements Higher / GCSE English essential for Chemistry with Teaching Higher / A Level Physics essential for MSci Applied Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Summer School top-up available where missed S5 grades and no relevant AH or resit being sat to compensate Chemistry, Maths & Physics

Contextual Entry Requirements Essentially one grade lower, two grades if two contextual flags.
