3 Job description Research chemists create and improve processes and products such as cosmetics, electronics and drugs. The chemicals are all that is found in nature, and a chemical research examines the compounds to determine how they interact with other chemicals

4 Typical Day In most cases, a research chemist working as part of a team within a department or research and development. Research chemicals often test the current products of a company or to examine the current means of laboratory tests to see if you can improve.
