Reminder: Initial Objectives As described in the Mandate of the BE Machine Learning and Data Analytics Forum (https://edms.cern.ch/document/2090843/1): Paul Collier requested to have a Forum to “promote knowledge sharing in the department about who is conducting Machine Learning and Data Analytics activities, for what reason and how. This to avoid a duplication of effort and optimize the learning process and application of new techniques”. The first objectives are to: Document existing activities and needs in the department. Evaluate potential areas of collaboration on current work. Initially the scope is limited to BE, but can be opened up once the first objectives are achieved.
