Energy saving features throughout the school We have daily switch off monitors. New: We are monitoring the radiator thermostats Future action! What we don’t have and what we would like to do: We have no source of renewable energy. Is it possible to have a roof mounted wind generator?

(Tabitha) Litter Very tidy playground and field monitored by litter pickers everyday Take part in community litter picking Future action - Autumn term We want to write a litter policy for the school and post this on the website. Alongside this we want to make an information film to inform parents and visitors about litter so they can understand why the school grounds are so tidy and how they can help keep them that way Before Christmas we want to make a handed tips film for the website which informs parents about how to reduce waste and how to recycle over the Christmas holidays Buying Green All staff order Green labelled books and paper annually

We support the Charity “Sense” – the collection bins at the gates are well used and emptied regularly All Kitchen waste recycled All plastic/metal and paper recycled Mrs Curtis reuses in art Compost collect every day (used by the gardeners) Ink cartridges - recycled Batteries - recycled

(Charlotte) Healthy Living: Sports teams and clubs Dinnertime coach PE lessons Gardening club Jackie making healthy meals Healthy snacks Bottled water Walk cycle scoot to school Swimming lessons Future action A number of studies have shown that Plants aid performance! They bring health benefits, calmness, and purify the air. We would like this to be the focus of our fund raising efforts this year
