Christ: God’s Good and Perfect Gift Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

Good: because of man’s need For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Good: because of man’s need This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15

Perfect-complete But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. John 6:68

Church: God’s Family is a Good Gift

Good? Saved in it. 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3:26-27

Good? Saved in it. and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. Ephesians 2:16

Good? Saved in it. Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. Acts 20:28

Good? Saved in it. but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 1 Timothy 3:15

Perfect from the divine aspect. 1. Organization 2. Worship 3. Soul-saving purpose 4. Soul-caring responsibility.

Conclusion 1. A good gift shows love for and interest in one. 2. God loved and gave (John 3:16)
