Dickson 200 Club

The 200 Club is a school-wide all positive, prevention focused intervention. It applies to all students, all staff and all settings. It consists of several evidence based behavior management practices.

Specifically it utilizes: -verbal praise -public posting -the Mystery Motivator -a variable reinforcement schedule -a group contingency

Public Display- The 200 club poster is located in the hallway by the school entrance and school office for everyone to see.

Student displays one of the Behavior expectations o I AM GREAT o I am Respectful o I Excel o I Act Safely o I am a Team Player

200 Club Tickets o Ten Teachers a day, 1 ticket each, placed in mailbox o Tickets with star-give to a student that you do not know Tickets w/o stars-give to student that you know

Dickson 200 Club Ticket Staff member gives student a ticket (ticket must be filled out with students name, staff name, and the reason they earned the ticket) Then the student is to take the ticket directly to Mrs. Heffleys Office

Dickson 200 Club Ticket The Rtii-Behavior Interventionist will call the students parent to inform them the child received a reward for good behavior If the parent is not reached by phone, a postcard will be mailed home informing the parent/guardian of the childs achievement Type of parent contact will be recorded in the Celebrity Book.

Celebrity Book Once student is in the office: o Student will sign the Celebrity Book o Student will pick a number out of the number can (1-100) o Student will put their name on a small post- it note o The post-it note will then be placed on the corresponding numbered square on the 100 board in the display case Student names will remain on the 100 board until there are ten names in a row (any direction)

Mystery Motivator Those ten students will win the MYSTERY MOTIVATOR The Mystery Motivator is a prize given by Ms. Kline & Ms. Love. It will change each time there is a group of winners The used tickets will also be kept and when the students earn the Mystery Motivator, a ticket will be pulled and prize will be given to a staff member for their participation in the program
