Reading Quiz: Ch. 5-7 How did Jem find his pants when he returned, and why is this significant? What does Jem want to put in the tree and why is he so eager to do this? You have ten minutes to respond and explain the best way you can. PUT EVERYTHING AWAY YOU SHOULD HAVE ONLY A HALF SHEET OF PAPER ON YOUR DESK.

Character Sketch. Chapters 5-7 I am going to give you your blank sheets. Please copy the format I show you. This will be the basic streamline format you will now need to follow. I am also going to show you some other character sketch examples. Pick Arthur Radley, Mr. Nathan Radley, Atticus, Jem, Dill, or Scout. YOU MUST PICK A CHARACTER YOU HAVE NOT YET SKETCHED. MAKE SURE YOUR TITLE YOUR SKETCH “CHAPTERS 5-7.” DO NOT FORGET YOUR NAME

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee Review Reading Schedule Read Ch. 8-9 (p. 63-89) It is your responsibility to stay up-to-date on the reading when you are absent. That is why I provide you with a reading schedule to use as a bookmark  . We will read for forty minutes. When you are finished you should work on the next Character Sketch.

Exit Note Choose, rewrite, and cite a page number for your favorite quote from the book. Explain why you like it, and how and why you connect with it.
