When you enter the room, immediately copy your agenda and objectives Agenda: Agenda / Objectives View Example Graphic Organizers Review some Project options. SSR: Read Ch (p ; 16) Final Project: Finish completing your graphic organizers and create visual Exit Note. Objectives: I will… Develop life-long reading skills. Explore perception in my own life. Connect personally to great American literature. Brainstorm TKAM character communities and work to describe those communities. HW: YOU MUST BE FINISHED WITH YOUR GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS AND BEGIN WORKING ON YOUR VISUAL CATCH-UP ON READING

2 Warm-up We are going to brainstorm a bunch of different ideas for creating our visual. With the person next to you, think of one way besides making a collage, that you could represent your communities. Did you ever think that maybe a visual does not just have to be a poster. Could you bring in small objects that represent each community? Do not be scared to get creative. Talk with the person next to you for 4 minutes. When four minutes is up, we will go around the room and each partnership will share their idea. I will record a list of our ideas to support you in making your visual.

3 Procedures: Make sure we have review and are clear on our final project assignment. Make sure you have read chapters Read Ch (p ; 16) Finish your three graphic organizers (Keep them in folder to turn in with project. Begin making visual We will also stay in our ASSIGNED seats. It is often too noisy for your classmates to work. It is often too noisy for me to work. Stay where the red dot is Pure and Sweet Silence

4 Exit Note: Often, when I read through the chapters that deal with the Tom Robinson trial, I become very angry. I always want to blame a character, but I am never sure who to blame. Who do you think is at fault for such injustices? Who do you want to blame? Who are you most angry with and why? ½ sheet of paper, turn into basket.
