The verb querer To say what you or others want, use a form of the verb querer. The form you use depends on the subject. yo nosotros(as) queremos quiero tú quieres vosotros(as) queréis Ud., él, ella quiere Uds., ellos, ellas quieren

Querer with a noun or infinitive Just as with gustar, you can use a noun or an infinitive after a form of the verb querer to say what you and others want or want to do. Quiero fruta. Quiero comer. I want some fruit. I want to eat. ¿Que quieres hacer? Quiero escuchar música. What do you want to do? I want to listen to music.
