Our vision and mission Challenge, together with regional partners, young and adult students to work on their future. Future-oriented and challenging education in a well-fitting learning environment Students develop skills: Professional skills Carreer management 21st century skills Citizenship Student centered education Talent management Mix of guidance in groups and individual In school and outside the school Blended learning 21st century skills: flexibilitiy, enterprising, collaborate, solve problems, creativity. Carreer management: reflection of own qualities and motives, work exploration, networking. Student centered: teachers have the skills to make sure the education connects with the needs and characteristics of every student Talent management: we challenge student to find his limits to be able to grow and excellent students have posibilities to further develop their talents.

Level 1 – Entrance programme A step towards more chances

Objectives To guide youngsters towards the labour market, sustainable. To guide youngsters towards a ‘start qualification*’, sustainable. *Minimal educational level that a youngster needs to have a serious chance at skilled work.

Learning environment Positive, optimal development of the student, prevention of drop-out. Clear structure for the student with feasible requirements but not too much pressure. Students need to feel challenged and need to experience success Practical and work based learning Career orientation and guidance Positive relations, safety, competence, autonomy, improve social defensibility Teachers in this programme are competent in providing this environment for students.

Students….. General Students that don’t have the preliminary education requirements for level 2, 3 or 4. Students that didn’t finish in secondary education successfully. Students that come from a vocational school. In the programme Regular students 16-20 years old that come from secondary education Students from vocational schools that have followed the e-direction in their last year. Students from vocational schools that have followed the assistant level preparation programme (stopped). Adults (22-55 years old) with unemployment benefits from local authorities. Employees (adults 20+) for education in-company (work and learning arrangements)

We expect a professional attitude - Be active - Accept leadership - Follow up on agreements - Good work pace - Show motivation to learn - Be helpful/service-minded when necessary

The programme One coach per class – 15 students per class Duration of programme 1 year (4 x 9 weeks). Language and Arithmetic (national reference level 2F) Citizenship Orientation on and choice of qualification. Binding career advice after 4 months Continue with expectation development to level 2 or work Continue with work contract Exit the programme Required internship Active collaboration with regional partners
