ASPECTS OF SPACE TO CONSIDER – SIZE OF OVERALL DESIGN SPACE AND THE ARRANGEMENT OF OBJECTS WITHIN THAT SPACE. THREE-DIMENSIONAL EXPANSE THAT A DESIGNER IS WORKING WITH, AS WELL AS THE AREA AROUND OR BETWEEN OBJECTS WITHIN THAT EXPANSE. ASPECTS OF SPACE TO CONSIDER – SIZE OF OVERALL DESIGN SPACE AND THE ARRANGEMENT OF OBJECTS WITHIN THAT SPACE. SPACE TOO SMALL – KEEP AS MUCH SPACE OPEN AS POSSIBLE SPACE TOO SMALL – KEEP AS MUCH SPACE OPEN AS POSSIBLE * LIMIT FURNISHINGS, SELECT SMALL FURNISHINGS OF PLAIN DESIGN * AVOID LOTS OF PATTERNS, INSTALL MIRRORS TO VISUALLY ENLARGE THE ROOM. SPACE TOO LARGE – DIVIDE IT WITH TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT ROOM DIVIDERS SPACE TOO LARGE – DIVIDE IT WITH TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT ROOM DIVIDERS ARRANGE FURNITURE IN SMALL CLUSTERS, & USE AREA RUGS TO VISUALLY DIVIDE THE SPACE.
