8th Grade Week 31 Agenda & Obj. 4/1/13-4/5/13 Monday: Poetry/Drawing Conclusions •8.4.2.2 Determine theme or central idea of a text 8.4.4.4 Determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text, including figurative and connotative meanings. •8.4.5.5 Analyze how a drama’s or poem’s form or structure (e.g., soliloquy, sonnet) contributes to its meaning.

Daily Writing: We’re BACK! 4/1/13 Choose one prompt to respond to and explain with detail: What did you learn over spring break? Explain the lesson. What are your goals for quarter 4? Explain a detailed plan on how to achieve them.
