Electronic Industry Code of Conduct Coalition members Electronic Industry Code of Conduct Global e-Sustainability Initiative 30 July 2007 EICC-GeSI Overview of Expectations

EICC & GeSI vision and mission Through the global application of the Code, we will improve social, economic and environmental outcomes for all those involved in the electronics supply chain. This includes improved conditions for workers, increased efficiency and productivity for customers and suppliers, and a cleaner environment for local communities .   Mission To deliver these benefits through a shared approach to implementation of the EICC. This approach will maximize the coverage of the Code and improve efficiency. By working together we can reduce duplication of effort and focus the saved resources on positive social and environmental change. Ultimately, our goal is to build awareness and capacity throughout the electronics supply chain to achieve consistently high standards of social and environmental responsibility. 30 July 2007 EICC-GeSI Overview of Expectations
