What is a Graphic designer? The art or skill of combining text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or books. Graphic designers create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for various applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.
Job duties/Skills needed Adobe InDesign. InDesign is one of the most important programs for graphic designers to know inside and out. Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Adobe Dreamweaver PowerPoint Microsoft Office Applications HTML, CSS, and Javascript Video and animation tools
Future prospects Employment opportunities within design services is expected to increase by 27 percent. Opportunities within the advertising and public relations field is expected to increase by 17 percent, but employment positions within the printing industry will only increase by 2 percent

What I think about this job. It a job that I may want to do in the future. I’m somewhat interested in it and somewhat not. I’m still interested but not fully committed.
