RESERVE A ROOM Via MICROSOFT OUTLOOK ADD/EDIT SERVICES Via WEB Presents Room & Resource Requests Quick Reference Guide RESERVE A ROOM Via MICROSOFT OUTLOOK ADD/EDIT SERVICES Via WEB Open Microsoft Outlook Select CALENDAR Select NEW MEETING Add SUBJECT, DATE, TIME, ATTENDEES (ONLY) Select EMS Room Scheduling Icon (on the toolbar) Search via Buildings Tab or View Tab (MAXAMIZE dialogue box if necessary) Add desired area by clicking the plus symbol next to name Enter the NUMBER OF ATTENDEES Select APPLY Select the event room location.  A “Booking Edit in Progress” status (green color) is displayed for the room. Click SAVE/SEND.  The event is automatically added to your Outlook calendar. The invited meeting attendees receive a standard invitation for the meeting. Note: VPN is required when reserving space with EMS for Outlook Navigate to Parker University’s Home Page, select MYPARKER Under Quick Links, select PARKER EVENTS. Use your Parker network credentials to log in. Select My Events You may navigate between RESERVATIONS and BOOKINGS (reservations are confirmed and bookings are pending reservations). Select the event that you want to edit. Manage Attendees Add Services Cancel Services Cancel Reservation View Reservation Summary View Service Availability Navigate through selected menu. As you add/remove selected your request will be updated Email confirmations will follow for each room and each service!

FAQs How do I search for available space? What if I only want to make a reservation if a specific room is available? Use the BROWSE options from the main menu. For more guidance, try Browsing Events, Locations, and People.  Why can't I make a reservation? Several settings control your capabilities as a user. For a deeper understanding, learn about Booking Templates, Requests, and Reservations .  Why are some options not available to me? This is probably because of settings controlled by your Administrator. For more detail about these settings, learn about Everyday User Templates. Can I let someone else make reservations on my behalf? If enabled by your Administrator, you can "delegate" to other users. They will then opt to "act as" you from their My Account menu.  How do I check if a room I want is available? How do I check a person's availability when making a reservation? Start at the My Home page and Browse Events, Locations, People. If you have Outlook, you can view people's availability in a calendar view during the booking process.  How do I add Services to a booking? You can add them during the initial booking process or by editing it later. Services, Resources, and Categories interact as part of the booking details for an event. Where do I find video tutorials?
