9. 5. 1950 - Robert Schuman, the French Foreign Minister, proposed the establishment of the European Coal and Steel Community. 18 April 1951 - The six countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands) sign the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community in Paris.

25. 3. 1957 - Roman Treaty 4. 1.1960. - Establishment of the European Free Trade Association - EFTA

13 . 3 . 1979 - The European Monetary System is in force. 1. 1. 1973 - Denmark, Ireland and the United Kingdom become members of the European Community. 13 . 3 . 1979 - The European Monetary System is in force.
