A unique 24 hours

Arrive midday one day and leave midday the next day: Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 August Berkshire, Somerset & Wiltshire North Sunday 8 to Monday 9 August Dorset, Somerset North & Wiltshire South Monday 9 to Tuesday 10 August Gloucestershire, Hampshire West, Isle of Wight & Jersey Tuesday 10 to Wednesday 11 August Bristol & S Glos, Cornwall & Hampshire North Wednesday 11 to Thursday 12 August Devon, Guernsey & Hampshire East

Foxlease Activity Centre, Lyndhurst, Hampshire Where is it all happening?

What will you need to bring? Small day sack with waterproofs, purse, camera, toothbrush, sun hat & cream, small torch, any medication, sweatshirt Blanket or very lightweight sleeping bag wrapped in bin bag and clearly named. Groundsheets will be provided Packed lunch to eat on arrival at the New Forest Showground and YOURSELF! You will carry your own kit from your coach to Foxlease!

Get adventurous on a Foxlease Activity including: Archery or Abseiling? Canoeing or Climbing? High Ropes or Low Ropes? Or you could even zoom down the Zip Wire!

Prepare to be dazzled at the SWWAG Party …an evening performance and celebration of live music and dance with a carnival atmosphere! Join the party – celebrate our 100 th Birthday in real style !

As day turns to night SWWAG just keeps on going… with our wonderful Night Activities Take in a movie at the Cinema Or boogie at the Silent Disco Go on a Night Hike...or Maybe a Dawn Hike?

Join the SWWAG Campfire or chill out in the Pamper Zone? Play some Bingo, visit the All Night Café or join in with the Wide Game …and then see day break at the Sunrise Ceremony If you need to you can always take a rest in your Home Marquee (surely not!)

Is there anything else I need to know? Arrival is at the New Forest Showground between 11am and 1pm Participant price is £45 (£20 for adults) All activities and an Evening Meal & Breakfast are included in the price Unit Leader Flyers that can be passed out to girls & parents are available now together with an FAQ sheet on the Region website – SWWAG page

So, who can come? If you are an Older Brownie, Guide, Ranger or Young Leader, aged between 9 and 16, in August 2010 You can! And your Leaders and Unit Helpers can come too to help make sure that your 24 hours are fantastic!

Adult Leaders Will have their own 24 hour experience and will join in with: the time trail walk to Foxlease the evening meal & celebrations in the main arena breakfast and the Closing Ceremony and … help run an activity or help the marshalling staff for part of the session take a turn at manning your County/Island home and enjoy an Adults Zone with refreshments, trading outlets and somewhere just to take time out!

Will you be a 16+ Senior Section member, Leader, Adviser, Commissioner or Trefoil Guild member? We need your help to run the facilities and activities for whole or part of the week.
