R ESPECT C afé Sit down, relax and contribute. What is Respect ? Respect involves taking someone's feelings, needs, thoughts, ideas, wishes and preferences into consideration, acknowledging them, taking them seriously, recognising their individuality and giving them value.

Embedding respect in a consistent manner across all areas of provision. In an area where diversity is limited, improving the understanding of Respect for All within the community.

To embed Respect for All within the college curriculum and showcase student projects that promote Respect for All. To carry out other cross college campaigns that will support the Respect for All agenda.

Group Task 2 1.Students divide into groups 2.Each group picks person to chair discussions 3.Chair announces topic for discussion 4.Group discuss their topic and record their ideas 5.Groups move to another table - Chair stays 6.Chair recaps what last group discussed, group adds their ideas to record.

R ESPECT C afé Sit down, relax and contribute. Respect for All in Curriculum Areas By Easter 2012, each curriculum area will be expected to showcase student projects on what respect means to them. This could either be a short film or video, poster, song, dance or theatre. Examples might include: Drama production on prejudice and bullying. Design project to increase understanding of a disability. Video on learning about other communities
