Piedmont Interclub Tennis Captain’s Guide

Login-First Time Captains Input your email address and select Generate New Password. The system will email you a password.

Login- Returning Captains Passwords do not reset each season. If you have forgotten your password, select Forgot Password. The following screen will appear. Input your email address and select Reset my Password. The system will email your password to you.

Admin After logging onto the software, you will briefly see a Login confirmation, such as: Then you will be re-directed to the Admin page:

Admin Cont’ Each line on the Admin page is used as follows: Create and Submit Roster Create and submit roster at the beginning of the season (will disappear after Roster deadline). Scores Enter match scores (for home captain). Team Information Displays team roster with email and phone #’s. Does not show roster position of player. Team Management Sends an email to all players to determine player availability for each match, and sends line-ups. Team Management Edit Updates player’s contact information. Captain Contact List Displays captains and their contact information for your division. Printable Membership Roster Displays all players in Piedmont Interclub, by facility, then division. Player Performance Statistics Match Results by Player Statistics Singles/Doubles History Statistics Broadcast Email Sends mass email to your team or captains in your division.  Captain Contact List Displays captains and their contact information for your division. Printable Membership Roster Displays all players in Piedmont Interclub, by facility, then division. Player Performance Statistics Match Results by Player Statistics Singles/Doubles History Statistics Broadcast Email Sends mass email to your team or captains in your division. *Adding NEW Players to Website ONLY FIRST TIME PIC PLAYERS *Select Add This Player to complete the addition of the new player. Note: If you do not have the player’s contact information at the time of entry, you may input this at a later date. Refer to the Edit Personal Information section of this documentation.* *Adding NEW Players to Website Go to the Admin page and select Players and Members Go to the Admin page and select Players and Members Scroll down until you find the Add Users to site:

Create and Submit Roster If taking a player from a different club make sure scroll to the club they are from. At the beginning of each season, this program is used by captains to add and remove players from their team. It also provides the ability to update personal information, such as rostered position. Select Create and Submit Roster from the Admin page.

Add and Remove Existing Players Once you’ve added your players, scroll down to the CONTINUE TO NEXT STEP button.

Edit Player Information This screen shows each player, in alphabetical order, by last name. Click the Edit Button to Indicate the rostered position (1 thru 6) in the “Player Position” box. You should have at least 2 players at each of the six positions. Click SAVE after editing each player. When all changes have been input scroll to the bottom of the screen and click here. Player 1

Confirm/Submit Roster Make sure everything is correct. Then click Submit Roster * If after submitting you find an error please contact the commissioner.

Subbing Up Players This section explains adding a player to your team, from a lower division team, within your facility. It is the captain’s responsibility to move subs onto the roster PRIOR to a match. *The home captain cannot enter scores for a match in which a sub played if the sub has not been moved onto the roster.

Scorecard Printing Click on Teams & Schedules at the top of the screen. Then Select the Date of the Match The Page will pop up in a new screen. •You can print it a blank scorecard or use the drop down box to pre-fill the scorecard with your players. •Make sure any players that are subbing up from a lower division have been moved to your team. •Print a copy to take to the match.

Scores • Home team captains are responsible for inputting scores. • Scores must be entered by 9:30 am the day after the match. • If a match was started and then rained out, wait until all individual matches have been completed before entering scores. Please notify the commissioner of all make-up dates for rainouts. Important: If the visiting captain has not moved over subs when you enter scores, notify the visiting captain and commissioner immediately. If visiting captain does not respond, enter and submit scores without the sub’s name (do not select a “Player name”). The commissioner will correct the information once it is available.

Entering Scores Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 •For each line, enter the winning team by selecting the drop down box. •For each line, use the drop down box to indicate default, forfeit, retired, etc. •For forfeited courts, score sets 1 and 2 as 6-0, 6-0. Do not enter names for either team. •For retires/defaults enter names and all points earned up to time of the default or retirement. When the scorecard has been completed, select “Review Scores”. If you find an error, select “Make Corrections”. Entering Scores Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 To input scores, click on Scores on the Admin page: Select Add for the match that you wish to input scores for. Select the players for each line via the drop down box. Enter set scores. Enter tie break scores, if necessary. When completed, scroll down and click submit. Once scores are submitted, they cannot be changed. You must notify the commissioner if there is an issue.
