8/7/2018 Logging On: Type in the address you supplied to your Assigner, then type in your password. Your initial password will be your last name. Your address is the one you use for your sport. Every official MUST have their own address. Addresses cannot be shared. Your initial password is your last name. If in the future you forget your password, click on “Forgot your password” and it will be mailed to you. Your computer will remember your password if you select “Remember my sign in information on this computer”. Watch out, don’t do this on a public or shared computer! Version 2.5

5 Terms and Conditions Click “Accept” 8/7/2018

6 You Must Change Your Password

Don’t worry about the Jersey number. While the system requires that you have one, the actual value is unimportant. Next, edit your phone information. Version 2.5

Use the “up” and “down” arrows on the right to get them in your preferred order. The first phone in the list is the one displayed by default on the officials roster list and on your game schedules. 23 From “My Start Page”, select “Calendar”
8/7/2018 Select the Month you want to block dates for – you will find this option to select on the right-hand of the screen right below the Date Range box. Then choose under “Action” what type of block you would like to do – “Block All Day”, “Block Part Day”, or “Clear Blocks”. From “My Start Page”, select “Calendar” Version 2.5

24 Set the Date Range for the “Block All Day” Action
8/7/2018 You will enter in the “From” and “To” Field with the appropriate dates – use the calendar icon to the right of each field to select the dates or type the date in. Format when typing “MM/DD/YYYY”. Once you have those dates entered, select the “days” of the week to affect and place a check mark in each day of the week selection. Then click “Apply”. Set the Date Range for the “Block All Day” Action Version 2.5

25 It now shows the applied “All Day” Block for the selected Date Range.
8/7/2018 “Blocking Part of a day” To Block Part of the day would be the same, except you would include the “Time Range” – “From” & “To”. Remember – Do not forget to include the Date Range in your selection. **You can also select a single day from the calendar to block (All or Part Day Block). It now shows the applied “All Day” Block for the selected Date Range. Version 2.5

First – Select the type of block you need “Block All Day”, “Block Part Day”, or select “Clear Blocks” Next – Select the date range for that selection, if you selected “Block Part Day” don’t forget to include the time “From” & “To”. Click apply to apply your settings. Then – Once you are done Select “Exit” No Notes Version 2.5

8/7/2018 Click on the “Summary” Link to Print out your Blocks Summary Report. Print your Blocks Summary Version 2.5

28 Select an output format
8/7/2018 Select an output format (Only supported on the Internet Explorer browser at the current time) From “My Start Page”, select “Print Blocks Summary” For now you must be running Internet Explorer in order to print your blocked dates (or any other list). Select the format that you would like and press “Print”. The document will appear in a separate window that can sent to your printer. Select “Done” to return to “My Start Page”. Version 2.5

If you press “Done” instead, you will return to the previous screen with no changes to your schedule! Once you press submit you can no longer edit the status of any game that you accept or decline. After you press submit, you must contact the assignor to change the status of any game that you have accepted or declined. Version 2.5

Please do not expect the assignor to read any information you enter into the notes field. Please check “Notes” if the “Notes” icon is Green. The assignor may communicate important information in this field. For example, if a team has a player that may not play because of a red card you will be notified in this field. If the “Notes” icon is red then there is no note associated with a game. Version 2.5

Select the format and press “Print”. As before, your schedule will appear in a separate window that can be sent to your printer. 8/7/2018 On any given day, you may only self-assign yourself to a limited number of game sets pre-determined by the assigner From “My Start Page”, select “Self Assign Games” You may assign yourself a maximum of a certain #(Set by assigner) games per day. You can only see those games that you are qualified to self-assign. You can change the sort order of this page by clicking on the column headings. The current sort order is listed on the left of the screen. Click “Reset” to return to the original sort order. Once you have selected “go” for a game in will immediately show-up in your schedule. The only way to undo this action is to contact the assignor. . Version 2.5

8/7/2018 From “My Start Page” select “Attach” Attaching yourself to a team puts place holders into your schedule for that team’s scheduled games. The only available sport to select is “Soccer”. “Level” contains a list of all the various levels of soccer that are assigned through TheArbiter.net. At this time, this list includes NCAA, High School, TVSL, GMSL and adult soccer leagues. “Teams” pulls down a list of teams for the “Level” you have previously selected. Once all fields are set, you will be presented with a list of games that you can attach yourself to. When finished, press “Submit” to save your changes. When complete, press “Submit” Version 2.5

8/7/2018 From “My Start Page” select “Officials” Clicking on one of the letters in the light green box will display the officials whose last name begins with that letter. If there are numbers in the dark green box at the bottom, then there are multiple pages. Click on the number to switch pages. You can change the number of officials displayed per page. The sort order can be changed by clicking on one of the headers at the top of the page. Clicking on an address will start your program. Clicking on the address will generate a map (via MapQuest) Version 2.5
