CONNECTION Remember when we did debates in our Book Clubs? Tomorrow we will be doing something similar. But we need to prepare first…

TEACHING POINT Today I want to teach you that whenever researchers study new issues, they give themselves time to process and digest what they are learning.

TEACHING We need to make sure we have a handle on our research so far so that we can debate about chocolate milk tomorrow and about our research topics after that. What is my issue? What position am I starting to take on the issue? What are my reasons for that position?

ENGAGEMENT Make sure you have lots of research and that it makes sense to you! I will be doing a note check by the end of reading today and you need to have good, quality notes. What should they look like…? They might look something like this…
