Keen staff Willingness to use innovation Awareness of potential Awareness of need 2 members of staff in training Enhancement of curriculum

OLTE –added value Small group of pupils working in their own time Subject based, GCSE pupils Range of IT skills used Tasks set to challenge and provoke thinking Focus on learning

Staff opinion Hard work Time consuming Creative Daily input and monitoring To be repeated!

teacher brilliant children who have fully entered into the spirit of VLE they of course had the benefit of mentoring and support and their ultimate reward is their subsequent learning.

teacher I have enjoyed the OLTE course and have learned a lot about online resources and technologies – working within the online community of teachers is very supportive, helpful and useful. My one concern would be the amount of time spent out of school and how it affects my classes in school.

Future plans Committed to principles Focus on gifted and talented Collaboration with other schools in ALC Allocation of time for staff preparation and mentoring Use of all devices e.g mobile phones Need to keep staff ahead of technology
