How to calculate BMI The Body Mass Index (or BMI) is a way of seeing if your weight is appropriate for your height. The actual calculation is your weight (in kilograms) divided by your height (in metres) squared but it's also easy to read on the chart. BMI can be divided into several categories and generally the higher your BMI, the greater your risk of a large range of medical problems. WEIGHT ÷ HEIGHT (squared)=BMI

The Get Up Get Moving Campaign The campaign Get up, Get Moving is to get the UK educated on health and fitness, and to test their existing knowledge, it helps people think about their diet and the things they eat without realising it. Get up Get Moving is to raise awareness of the dangers of an unhealthy lifestyle and the ways to get back in shape. Get Up Get Moving is to help them live a long, healthy and active life.

Guide to a healthy lifestyle Eat a balanced diet- at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Cut down on sugar, salt and fat intake. Exercise regularly. Drink at least 1 litre of pure water each day. Make sure you have a good intake of vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C and iron.
