GROUP DISPLAY – organise yourselves into small groups of 3 Each group is to organise a display to show the different services provided in the Knottingley area. Health services – doctors, dentists, hospitals Social services – residential care homes, day centres Early years services – nurseries, creches, playgroups

Display of service providers in Knottingley Your display should include: The name of the service Who the service is for Which needs the service caters for The location of the service on a map You will be assessed on your contribution to the team ‘s effort.

In your group discuss the following and record your answers on paper. Identify the 5 main groups What are the needs of each of these groups? Are these needs provided in Knottingley?

Organise your group. Write a plan to share out the work Write down what you need to find out. Put a name next to the person responsible for doing each piece of work. Share your ideas about how you are going to find the information you need How are you going to display your work? Each person is assessed on their contribution to the task.
