2. What treatment will I have?
The doctor will want to arrange for you to have an operation to take the cancer away
You will be given a date when the operation will be done

3. Where will I go for the operation?
The operation will be done in a different hospital

4. Will I see the same doctor?
You may see a different Doctor
He or she will tell you about the operation

5. What if I don’t understand?
A nurse will help you
She will talk to you about the operation
You can ask her any questions

6. What if I can’t think of anything to ask?
It is normal not to want to ask any questions but you may want to
over the next few days

7. What happens next? The Nurse will give you her telephone number
She will arrange to come and visit you at home in the next few days just to make sure you are ok!

8. What if I have questions?
Write down any questions you may have and ask the Nurse when she visits you
If you need help writing things down you can ask a friend , support worker or family member to help

9. What if I have any questions?
If you think of any questions you can telephone the nurse and she will be able to answer your questions.
