STAFF INTERACTION - Does your staff know + share their volunteer needs? Do they provide job descriptions? Do you offer forms that help? Do they show the love? BOARD SERVICE- What expertise is your organization looking for? Sectors needed in the community? How do you introduce/vet them? Is there a corporate culture of development? COMMUNICATION PATH – Do you have a process to volunteer? Does staff participate? … Email, text, posters at center, reminders, staff, website lists, etc. …the easier you make it for the volunteer, the more they flock to your organization. FINDING GREAT VOLUNTEERS- Websites, Hospitals/Child Life Specialists, High Schools, University/College, Corporate Community Service, Alternative Spring Breaks, etc.
