Other Thoughts…

Credit Denial Can not miss more than 9 days / semester Please communicate with Attendance Office to document absences

Make Up Work Policy Students are to be provided one school day for everyday day missed to make up work. Long term assignments are due on the day the student returns to school.

Midterm Exams Final Exams Often we get calls about students missing midterm or final exams. Students are not allowed to take the exams early - they can only take them when they return and should always let the teacher know in advance.

PSAT testing for sophomores: October 10th, 2018 Upcoming PSAT PSAT testing for sophomores: October 10th, 2018

Closing Thoughts Check quarter grades often Communicate directly with your student’s teacher if you have a concern Take all standardized testing seriously This presentation will be on the GCHS Student Services Website under ‘Events’
