Learning in the Nursery The overriding purpose of early years education is to help children develop the skills and attitudes they will need both at this level and throughout a lifetime of learning. Children need an holistic educational experience that doesnt create artificial boundaries between different aspects of their development. The Nursery Curriculum The Nursery uses the International Primary Curriculum or IPC Our units this year will be Term 1Nursery RhymesFood Term 2Lets PretendBears Term 3Houses and HomesSand and Water 4 Strands of learning International learning outcomes We use aspects of the English National Curriculum for English and Maths where appropriate.
