Info Day on Calls and Partner Café ESPON 2013 Programme Info Day on Calls and Partner Café Call for Proposals for Priority 4 of the ESPON 2013 Programme Transnational Networking Activities by the ESPON Contact Point network

Priority 4: Transnational Networking Activities Potential beneficiaries: The institutions nominated by Member and Partner States that are confirmed by the ESPON Monitoring Committee as ESPON Contact Points (ECP). Purpose: Supporting a targeted transnational capitalisation, awareness rising, exchange of experiences, participation, empowerment and dissemination of ESPON results and evidence. (2) Activating transnational interest in ESPON results and knowledge by involving policy makers, practitioners and scientists, in particular those who would otherwise not be informed about ESPON.

Priority 4: Transnational Networking Activities Call specific criteria for this call decided by the MC: Emphasis on potential benefits of cross-fertilisation through (1) the integration of thematic issues already undertaken in other ongoing transnational capitalization projects under P4 (2) making use of best experiences in a communication targeting users of ESPON results. Ambition of the ESPON 2013 Programme having all confirmed ECP institutions taking part in transnational capitalization projects during 2007-2013: Available budget: 500.000,00 €

Priority 4: Transnational Networking Activities Project period and requirements: Transnational Networking Activities normally last 2-3 years. Depending on the logic of each Transnational Networking Activity and the strategy chosen, its duration might be shorter or longer. ECP institutions wanting to participate in the last call for Transnational Networking Activities opening shall assure that their formal nomination as national ESPON Contact Point is valid for the entire project implementation period in the proposal and does not expire before the proposed project implementation has ended. The MC will in the course of the eligibility check be asked to confirm the duration of the nomination of their national ECP institution.
