Accelerated Reader Accelerated Reader is a program used in our school to motivate readers and build comprehension. Students are able to check out AR books from our school and classroom libraries and complete computerized quizzes on the books they have read. Students earn points for completing quizzes and will receive school wide rewards. You can use the website and log in information listed on your Home Connect letter to check which quizzes your child has taken and their performance on each quiz. You may visit the website www.arbookfind.com to find books at your child’s level.

Progress Reports Academic Progress Reports will be sent home every other week in your blue Falcon folder ParentLink will provide you with the ability to track your child’s grades and attendance at any time. Please see me for your ParentLink information sheet (IF you do not already have a log-in)

We Need Your Help!!! Our Parent Action Committee (PAC) is looking for new members! Please join! We love parent volunteers! If you are available, please sign up for a day and time that is convenient for you to help out in our classroom! (We’ll put you to work!!!) Please help us with our Cookie Dough fundraiser as it provides our school with valuable resources such as clubs, assemblies, awards, and student incentives. Due to budget cuts, we will be asking for parent help to fund field trips and Scholastic News. We truly appreciate your help. Thank you for your contributions to our classroom supplies. I may send home letters throughout the year for additional supplies as needed. Again, your help is greatly appreciated.

Contacting Me You may call me at any time and leave a voicemail at 799-6840 ext. 3078. I will return your call as quickly as possible. You may email me at TWScott@interact.ccsd.net. I check my email frequently and will respond promptly. If you would like to schedule a conference with me, please sign up and I will contact you to set up a date and time.
