Because of this system, it is possible for one candidate to GET MORE VOTES FROM THE PEOPLE, but for another candidate to GET MORE VOTES FROM THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE. When that happens, the person who GOT MORE VOTES FROM THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE WINS. THAT HAS HAPPPENED ONCE IN YOUR LIFETIME.

WORKING YOUR WAY THROUGH THE COMPUTER SHEETS WILL HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE SYSTEM WHILE DOING IT, ASK YOURSELF: “IS AMERICA A DEMOCRACY?” ALSO ASK: IS IT IMPORTANT IF I VOTE?
