Learning Objective To develop an understanding of Piaget’s model. Success Criteria Create a factsheet about Piaget’s model. Challenge Answer questions on a case study based on Piaget.

Task Create a factsheet about Piaget’s model of cognitive development. You should include: The name of the stage Age that the child is at during the stage Key facts about the stage Schema development Conservation tests (with youtube links) Egocentrism Evaluation (criticisms) Key terms: Abstract logical thinking Egocentric thinking Concrete logical thinking Schemas Equilibrium Disequilibrium Accommodation Conservation Egocentrism

Final Activity Attempt the case study questions on page 15 of the textbook in pairs. Be prepared to feedback answers to the class.
