COSCAP North Asia Cooperative Development of Operational Safety & Continuing Airworthiness Programme NARAST Constituted by and under the COSCAP-North Asia Steering Committee in April 2003 ICAO Global Aviation Safety Plan (GASP) encourages States to establish regional aviation safety teams Similar process to FAA Commercial Aviation Safety Team (CAST) and JAA Joint Strategic Safety Initiative (JSSI)

COSCAP North Asia Cooperative Development of Operational Safety & Continuing Airworthiness Programme NARAST Review outputs from CAST/JSSI and provide recommendations concerning their implementation in North Asia Review regional results of USOAP audits and provide recommendations on enhancements that could be implemented on a regional basis NARAST to also identify regional issues and providing safety promotion support
