It organises ab-initio and continuing education for the personnel of DGAC, as well as for the private sector and foreign authorities √ ENAC is particularly involved in aviation safety related courses such as air traffic management, aircraft airworthiness, communication, navigation and surveillance, airport security and airport certification

COSCAP -NAApril 200810 direction générale de l’Aviation civile COSCAPs Progress in the field of safety must be based upon the ICAO principle that France strongly supports, founded on the responsibility of each State and on a mutual confidence between States √ The improvement of safety requires a permanent mobilisation of all concerned actors and a consistency of their respective actions (manufacturers, pilots, airlines, oversight and regulatory authorities)

COSCAP -NAApril 200811 direction générale de l’Aviation civile COOPERATION COSCAPs are an appropriate forum: - to heighten the civil aviation authorities of the problems related to the content of the regulation, its implementation and the supervision - to organize exchange of views and experiences - to promote harmonization on a regional level - to avoid duplication in cooperation activities
